Should I Seek Medical Advise For Swelling In Knee?

HELLO. I FELL OFF A TREADMILL THIS MORNING. I landed on my knee, it is swollen, hot and bruised. The swelling started immediately and is sore both climbing up stairs and down. No pain while sitting with leg elevated, just heat. stiff when I get up. Should I seek medical advise i.e A&E or wait till morning and see how it is then?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear Sir/Mam,
The symptoms that you are complaining are very commonly seen in any trauma to the knee. But still a professional advice from an orthopaedic surgeon will always help. Til then give it lots of ice packs and start anti inflammatory drugs. Hope this has helped you.
