if it is in early stages, surgery may offer a chance for a cure.
if the stage is higher then chemotherapy and radiotherapy can be added to surgery

Yes first get a biopsy test done to rule out metastatic changes since a surgeon who is operating will know how much is to be excised. and further treatment depends upon the histological report.
