Should I Go For Biopsies To Eradicate The Chances Of Temporal Arthritis?

My doctor leaned toward me having temporal arthristis (TA) and made me an appt with a neologist. The neologist took an MRI and blood work. All was normal. Now the neologist want me to go to a general surgeon and have biosphies taken from the arteries at above my ears. If MRI and blood work was normal, why do I need this surgery? The neologist said it would just further rule out the TA. What is your opinion?

hi,
If all other tests are normal, and still suspicion is there, biopsy is the final answer. Without biopsy, no one is 100% sure, whether you have or not have TA.
