Should I Do HIV Test If Once The Results Are Negative?

hi,

I had sex with call girl 5 years back...and after one year I was gone through HIV test (in Apolllo clinic) before merriage..As per report, I am not HIV infected..after then I have not done any sexual relation with anybody..I have one duaghter.. and before delievery, hospital person tested for HIV again..again it was OK..my question is that should I do any more HIV test from any recomended center...or HIV test are always OK from all over the world clinic's and hospital.

Thank you for query.I do not think you need to do any more HIV tests because of that incident.It is too old you cannot get positive tests due to that incident.If you do not have any other risk of acquiring HIV you can totally allay fears and is not necessary to undergo again.If it is a accredited lab you can get it done anywhere in the world.You can get back to me for any clarifications.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist

Thank you for query.there is no need to bother about HIV if your tests have come negative after 1 year of exposure.you have repeated again and is negative.As there is no exposure to risk again or contact with risk individuals there is no chance of acquiring HIV also.So there is no need for testing for HIV again.you can relax and allay the fears of HIV .forget the episode and lead a safe and normal life.You can get back to me for any clarifications with the photos.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist
