HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Gemer is a combination of glyformin (500mg) and glimepiride (2mg). The addition of the glimepiride to your medication would have improved control but your blood sugar levels still need to be tightened.

Since glyformin is one of the first line agents for diabetes and is not associated with weight gain like glimepiride, your doctor may want to consider increasing the dose of your glyformin.
The normal glyformin can go up to 3 g a day and the glyformin SR can go up to 2 g a day so you have a lot of from for increase.

I hope this helps
