Should I Consult Doctor For The Bruising Of The Eyelid?

Hi my 3 year old daughter bumped her head on a table today the collision was just above her eyelid and below her eyebrow it started to swell straight away I held a cold compress on it to reduce any swelling, when I removed the compress I noticed she had a small cut which wasn't bleeding very much at all, I decided to keep an eye on her as the cut wasn't very deep or wide and she was not concussed it has been about 14 hours since and the bruising is just beginning to show which again isn't worrying me too much but her eyelid is starting to bruise too, I'm just curious to know at what point I should get it looked at or how I would know the difference between it just being a regular black eye or if she has damaged the socket?

Hello dear
Thanks for your query at hcm
I understand your concern.

Looks to be severe injury for a child of that age.
My recommendation would be get the child physically examined by pediatrician for any bony injuries or development of black eye.
Regards.
