Should I Be Worried For Had Lump In Breast?

Hi, after I had my baby. I found a hard lump inside my right breast. It sets on the right side of my right breast. Almost in the middle of my chest. It does not really move or hurt and it feels hard. It s been there for almost two month. I have an appointment to get my breast scan at a cancer clinic in a week from now. I just want to find out what it could be before I go. What are the names. It can t be breast cancer cause it ushly behind the breast where your arms are. And I would show some other signs. could it be a milk clog? Thanks you. I just want to know something before I got.

Hi There

After going through your question,
I am of the opinion that:

1) Painless hard, mobile lump in breast is most commonly benign.
2) It is mostly a fibroadenoma of the breast.
3) Such lesions require no treatment.
4) It could be a milk clog too.
5) I do not think you need to worry too much about it.
6) You will need a mammography to find out the exact nature of the tumor.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
Dr. Shikha
