Should I be worried about abnormal heart beats?

I was sitting in class and my heart start pounding hard and extremely fast. My chest drew up and it felt like my heart was going to jump out of it. It last a whole 5 seconds. Long enough for me to realize I couldn t breathe because I was so scared and to scream what in the world and then it was over. Should I be worried?
