Should I Be Worried About A Pet Dog Biting An Infant Child?

a dog bit my 1 year old granddaughter. there is a small bruise and a little pin-size mark but no blood. it is our dog that is a year behind on her shots but doesn t go outside. is there anything to worry about if the child seems ok and her hand looks ok
