Should I Be Concerned About Thumb Numbness And Burning Arm After Heart Cath?

I had a heart Cath this past Wednesday and when I woke up this morning my thumb is NV and there is burning up to my muscle in the upper part of my arm. This was a wrist procedure. Do I have anything to be concerned with? I can t feel anything in my thumb at all.

The numbness and burning in the arm is due to a mild irritation of some of the nerve fibers in the neck. This will subside on its own in next few days. There is no need to worry.
