Short of breath, soreness in chest and back when I take deep breath

Short of breath, soreness in chest and back when take deep breath? I am resorting to this because I have been to so many doctors. I have seen an internal med and cardiologist. I have shortness of breath that come and goes. I have a soreness in my back and chest that is especially noticable when I stand up or turn over in bed. Feels like my inner chest and inner back of some of soreness that typicallly relieves after stretching it out (taking deep breaths to cause the pain) I don t smoke at all, never have.

Try running or a treadmill. You need to pump some air through your body.

Hi, I m feeling some pain in my chest and trachea. the pain worsens when I lay down at night and not much pain during the day. When I take deep breaths it hurts my chest sometimes. Sometimes I get pain on the top of my back and it travels to the front. I ve attempted twice to use my heating pad. It helps for a short period of time then the pain comes back. Don t know what to do, please help.

Age: 43 Female Heart murmur (innocent). One kidney (donor - 11 years ago). I often have back pain (lower) from lifting special needs son. In the last few months I ve had pain between the shoulder blades. One morning, very early (maybe 3 am), it felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest with very strong flutter. Later that morning I had a squeezing sensation around my ribs that happened over about 30 seconds and lasted an hour before it slowly went away. Remained a bit sore for a couple of days. I wasn t doing anything other than standing at the time. Another time, I was washing my hair in the sink when it felt like I pulled a muscle between my shoulder blades. Slow, gradual pain - lasted for days and it was uncomfortable to take even a slightly deep breath. I have had on and off discomfort between my shoulder blades since. I do have a high stress life with a chronically ill son, and I have trouble sleeping more than 5 hours at night due to back pain and general anxiety. My worry is the pain between my shoulder blades. Is it common to pull muscles there? I hear so much about different symptoms of a heart attack for women. I do get extremely tired by mid day, could doze off just sitting on the couch (I have, actually). But I contribute this to lack of sleep. I ve had my blood pressure checked more than once over the past year. First time it was borderline hypertension, the second time it was something like 110/72. This has been the pattern for me. Higher blood pressure one day, far better a few months later. No obvious reason why.

My friend has told me ( he is 82) that when he lies down on his right side his chest hurts. I noticed his shortness of breath two nights ago when we had to walk about 200 yards to a ball park. He is complaining of indigestion- 2 days now. He has had a stent for 10 years, otherwise is in good health. Last night he did not sleep well. He does not feel it is a heart problem as he saw his cardiologist 3 months ago and was dealing with just some high BP-= 130/90

Hi there. I am a 35 year old female 5'7 155 lbs with a 7 month old baby delivered by cesarean. I have had shortness of breath that worsens with physical exertion since the last month of my pregnancy but am otherwise in good health. The last 2 months it has been getting progressively worse to the point where I have to catch my breath sometimes in conversation. I am taking domperidone to increase my breastmilk production and have been for 2 months. I have been to the ER where I have had an ECG, ct scan, x-ray and bloodwork, as well as a pulmonary function test. All results were within normal ranges except my oxygen levels in my blood were low - however the test was taken peripherally, not through a central line. Also, my resting heart rate was 118, and when I did a stress test, within 2 minutes my heart rate was at 200. They are sending me for an echocardiogram next. Do you think this could be adult onset asthma or a reaction to domperidone or is it my heart?

I've had many CAT scans and heart moniters in the past to find out if there are any coronary issues. All thats been found is SVT. Sometimes it's better than others but on a more frequent basis my heart seems to pound pretty hard. The actual lub beat feels like it's going to pound out of my chest and I'm just sitting down. Many times this leads to panic and shortness of breath. I've been told there is nothing I can do about it. Does this mean I have a higher probability of heart failure? How can I control my heart pace? Are there any techniques other than breath control?
