Short Cervix 1 Cm Dilated, Discharge Color Yellowish. Progesterone, Polygynax Taken. Suggestions?

Hi. I am Naraa. I would like to ask my vaginal discharge. I was given cerclage 5 days ago due to short cervix with 1 cm dilated. After cerclage discharge color was reddish 3 days then it was yellow. I take progesterone 100 mg * 3 times avperday and polygynacs was put into my vaginal before night. I am worried about yellow discharge. Is it possible cause progestrone increased.

hi, you had an cervical circlage operation for short cervix to prevent the second trimester abortion. after the procedure the discharge will be there for 7-10 days. but you should be taking antibiotics after the procedure, it will help. please see your obstetrician if you have foul smeeling dischage inspite of taking antibiotics. all the very best.
