Sharp Pain On The Thumb After A Blood Draw. Nerve Damage?

Hello I just had blood drawn Tuesday and had a sharp pain go straight to my thumb . After it was over my arm seem to be fine. Every now and then I still get that same shotting pain in my arm. What should I do? Could this be nerve damage? Would it get better over time? Or do I need to go back to the doctor? Thank you for your time

hello,
thank you for consulting HCM

nerve damage during drawing the blood is often seen and it is usually become normal over time without any intervention. The ner takes some time for its regeneration and your pain will be resolved once it get regenerated. But over time if you still get that consult your doctor for the examination.Thank you.
