Sharp Pain In Middle Of Wrist Along With Shoulder Pain And Occasional Numbness In Finger. Can It Be Tendinitis?

i'm 18, female, work in retail. My left wrist has been hurting on and off for the past 4 years. It flares up usually after working a busy day at work (i'm right handed), the pain is in the centre of my wrist and is sometimes accompanied by pain on the top of my shoulder and shoulder blade, I've found this is possibly linked with the ulner nerve as I get a sharp pain in my shoulder blade like a pinched nerve and occasionally numbness in the fingers connected to the ulner nerve. the pain flares up every few months and can get to the point where I cant move my wrist. Do you have any idea what this could be? I've been to a specialist but he couldn't find anything definite, got an mri done, he said there was possible tendinitis but that there was nothing that could be done and I just had to deal with it. Just wanting a second opinion on this, thanks.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi there.
First of all let me begin by mentioning that this is not an incurable disease
This seems to be a case of arthritis.
Arthritis can involve the muscles, bones and joints all at one time.
Xray are of little value in such cases.
You have to get a complete arthritis panel blood test done with special emphasis on serum uric acid , RA factor and CRP titre levels.
Start with a short course of stetoid like tablet predmet 4 mg twice daily for 3 days.
Take tablet Nucoxia 60 twice daily+ tab pregalin SR 75 once daily.
Get the results evaluated by an orthopaedic ian and proceed likewise.
Good luck.
