Sharp Pain Between Coccyx, Anus, Temporary Relief With Enema. Chronic Back Pain. Prescribed Morpine, Baclofen. Proctalgia Fugax?

Hi I seem to suffer from proctalgia fugax I was never officially diagnosed with it, the symptoms however match except one thing Besides sharp infrequent and short pains between coccyx and anus I also, once in a while seem to get the "longer version" of the same thing. Sometimes it can go on for hours and spontaneously resolve. Most often those long episodes happen when outside temperature spontaneously drops. Warm enemas seem to only temporarilly relieve those long epsiodes as are hot baths.

I had those pains for over a decade. I am a 36 year old male with severe chronic lower back pain due to past injury. I am precribed morphine and baclofen for back spasms and pain and have been rotated on opiates for years but either drugs (although do relieve back pain) are ineffective for these particular bouts of long anal pain, so I don't even bother taking breakthrough pain meds when they happen, I simply try to distract myself. Is it not unusual for proctalgia fugax to last this long or to be brought on by the weather? What other conditions other than PF can fit the bill (doesn't seem to be caused by diet or bowel movement) and what medications or exercises may be effective in your opinion? (I did have colonoscopies with negative results for anything serious).

Hi, the reason for the anal pain could be adhesions of the previous injuries, or prostatis, or fissures in ano. I advise you to consult a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have the MRI for diagnosis.
I advise you to take green leafy vegetables, fruits and juices and fibrous foods. Thank you.
