Sharp Lower Abdominal Pains Before Bowel Movements, Diagnosis Of IBS, Have A Bladder Sling In. Suggestion?

I am having sharp abdominal pains on my left lower abdominal area (gut) . It happens rt. before a bowel movement . I ve been told I have IBS but it usually just flares up & then gets better. This has been going on for several weeks & seems to be getting worse. I had a bladder sling put in & have had complications from it on this same left side!
