Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
I understand that you are concerned about your mother's health setback. Headache can be due to a variety of causes:
- Migraine
- Sinusitis
- Tension headache
- Cluster headache
- As a manifestation of neurological and other systemic problems
More clinical information, such as a detailed history, a proper physical examination, and if necessary, further investigations, is required in order to find out the exact cause. An MRI is not essential in all cases to make a diagnosis. Often a good history and clinical examination is sufficient to make a diagnosis. So, I would suggest that you first take her to a doctor for further evaluation and treatment.
Wish you all the best.
Regards,
Dr. Jonas Sundarakumar
