Shakiness, Sweating, Dizziness, Irregualr Heart Rate, Tingling In Hand And Feet, Occasional Hallucination. Glucose Levels 60. Low Blood Sugar Symptoms?

I have been experiencing very similar symptoms of low blood sugar. Shakiness, sweating, dizziness (sometimes very sudden and brief), irregular heart rate, and tingling in hands and feet. I've checked my sugar a few times. It's ranged anywhere from 93-130. I had blood work done and my lab results came back with my glucose levels at 60. Is low blood sugar a possible cause with this one bad reading? Or could it be something else? These spells have woken me up from a dead sleep. I also tend to have hallucinations every once in a while. I don't know if this has anything to do with my other symptoms but I thought it was important enough to mention. I am awake when they happen and usually wake my husband up so i can show him too. It is always spiders on my bed or coming down from the ceiling.

Hello,
Blood sugar levels below 60 will defitely cause hypoglycemic symptoms and this is what is happening to you.
Since hypoglycemia is just a symptom,a thorough search has to be made for the cause of hypoglycemia in ypu.
Although diabetes is the most common cause for hypoglycemic attacks in a person but there are other situations also which can cause hypoglycemia ,like
Use of medications like salicylates ,propranolol or quinine
Disorders of liver, kidney, pituitary and adrenal glans
Alcohol abuse
Insulinoma ( tumor of pancreas )
Reactive hypoglycemia
Accidental intake of diabetic medication etc.
Ou must consult a diabetologist and get yourself tested thoroughly for diabetes as well as above mentioned possibilities.
Thanks
