Shadows in vision, bands of white brightness, headache, eye twitching. Blood sugar, bp normal. Suggestions?

I have episodes in which the center of my vision has a shadow. This will be followed by bands of white brightness, like a strobe light. Finally, the central vision returns and the sides of my vision are shadowed, like tunnel vision. This is usually followed by a headache which varies from mild to severe. I also have eye twitching which can last for 2-3 days at a time then go away for a week or so. It eventually returns. The vision loss happens about once a month. Blood sugar = normal. Blood pressure = normal.

Dear user
It seems from the history that you are sufferring from migraine and whatever symptoms you have told are usually part of prodromal symptoms of migraine. You need to take analgesic drugs during painful episodes. If these episodes are very much recurrent as in your case you need prophylactic drugs to prevent acute attacks. Please visit near by physician for complete examination and further treatment
