Severe Throat Infection, Fever. Prescribed Azithromycin, Meftal And Ibugesic Plus. Dosage?
My daughter is 6 n half..she has severe throat infection since last 2 days.her paed has presctibed azithromycin 200 mg od with ibugesic plus.But since the fever did not come down she has asked to giv cefixime 100 mg bd along with the above mentioned one.For fever she has told to giv meftal p 10 ml 6 hrly is the dose ok for 25 kg body wt?

meftal p is given dosage of 25 mg/kg in dived dose,
even 10 ml is ok. in case you are in confusion, so may be you can give little less than 10 ml, may be 8-9 ml every time.
