Severe Throat And Ear Pain. Probable Sinus Infection? Allergic To Mold And Pollen

I went to the E.R on Saturday because I had really bad ear and throat pain. For the past 2 months I have felt like my ears were plugged and full of fluid but recently they started to hurt. When I was seen she said she did not see any fluid and everything looked normal but because I had pressure on my sinuses I might have a sinus infection. She prescribed me amoxicillin and it seems it made it worse I now have a stuffy nose and sinus headache. Also I have a history of sinus infections and I get 6 every year and I really dont think I have a sinus infection. Also for background I am allergic to trees mold grass pollen ect. HELP. Thanks

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

You seem to have many interrelated ENT conditions. I suggest you get a thorough ENT examination; a specialist will be able to clearly look into the problem using endoscopes and other special instruments. After a correct diagnosis is made your treatment will be easier. A treatment for allergic rhinosinusitis is different from that of an infective chronic sinusitis. Ask for an examination by an ENT specialist.
