Severe Stomach Pain. Gall Bladder Removed. Not Eaten Anything. Suggest
Yesterday I suffered SEVERE stomac pain immediately after I ate fired chicken fingers. It lasted from around 12:30 PM until after 11:00 PM. I did not have any Fever, Nausea, Vomiting or Diarrhea or Cramps! It was just extreme pain. It reminded me of the pain I had before I had my Gall Bladder removed (8 years ago). I feel much better today, and my stomach does not hurt, but I also haven't eaten anything since yesterday. Just Sprite and Water!! Any ideas?
hi there, you may have suffered a bout of gastritis caused due to having the fried chicken which if not cooked, stored or fried properly may give rise to the symptoms you have suggested. As there are no other symptoms and you are feeling much better today, probably the body has corrected the problem. It is advisable not to go empty stomach for a long time at a stretch as it will lead to aggravation of the condition and cause more discomfort and pain. TRy taking light fat and spices free food in small meals and you may take antacids to reduce any other symptoms of gastritis. It is best to avoid fried stuff outside as the quality of the oil and the food item cannot be vouched for. Take care.
