Severe Pain Under Breasts, Sweating, Nausea. Recurring Frequently. No Relief With Antacids. Solution?

I am having severe pain under my right breast and right below both of them. I have taken antacids, they are not working. The pain is so intense I break out in a sweat and get nauseous. It lets up for about a min or two and then reoccurs. This happened yesterday also for a total of abot 30 min. And this morning that area was still sore to touch. And now it is occurring again.

Hi Tammy,

Thanks for your query. I appreciate your concerns.

You have not mentioned your age; whether obese or suffering from any other disease such as diabetes or high blood pressure.

From the details given by you, the possibilities are :-

* Acute severe acidity
* Acute disease of Pancreas
* Recurrent angina pain - in which case you should immediately consult a cardiologist.

So, I suggest that you get an urgent ECG done --> if normal --> Blood Amylase and ultrasound of upper abdomen at the earliest.

Take lot of antacids (30-40ml) 5-6 times a day.

Consult your treating doctor with the investigation reports. He knows what course of action would be best for you.

I am sure that you will benefit from the advice

Have a speedy recovery and a good health
