Severe Pain In Right Thigh, Unable To Walk, Have Ultrasound. Can Any Online Doctor Help In Reading The Result?

mother has severe pain in right thigh and is unable to walk un assiaated. An ultra sound of the right lower leg shows echogenic materials in superficial vein located on the medial aspect. this vein is non compressible. the right common femorl vein, superficial fermoral vein and popliteal vein appear distenede and demonstrate sluggish blood flow. but are fully compressible.

This could suggest "varicose veins" or "varicose vein thrombosis". Unlikely to be deep vein thrombosis, but one should still rule out. As often these two may lead to one another

Doing a venography will help in further diagnosis

Consulting a vascular surgeon would be appropriate
