Severe Pain Due To Old Disc Fractures In The Throacic Region. Best Remedy?

What s the best treatment for old disc fractures at t11 & t12 that are causing alot of pain in the thoracic region and referred pain to ribs. Some days my whole back aches. I ve tried spinal blocks, nerve ablation, physio, acupuncture , chiro, pain meds, tens machine ((developed skin sensitivity to pads). It has been suggested a peripheral nerve stimulator would help...

Hello,

I have studied your case.

You may need to do MRI spine again to see for nerve compression

If your new MRI shows disc bulge with nerve compression then surgery may help.
Due to compression of this nerve root there is tingling numbness in your leg and pain associated with it.

For these symptoms analgesic and neurotropic medication can be started.
Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help.
Yes peripheral nerve stimulation may help.

I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.
