Severe Pain And Swelling In Hand, Loss Of Feeling In Fingers. History Of Surgery For Dislocated Shoulder. Relief Only With Painkillers?

Hi, I had 3 dislocations within a year and had to end up having surgery on my right shoulder. Since then I have still managed to have dislocations and have bee to PT time after time, I ofter run into have sever pain and swelling of my hand, and fingers and also have lose of feelings in finger on the right side what could this mean? Why is it that the oly relief I can get is to be on pain relevers?

Welcome at HCM.

It looks from your details that you may have sudeck dystrophy at your upper limb.This condition is due to problem at nervous system of upper limb.This needs to be seen by your orthopedic doctor.There are some therapies which are very helpful like mirror therapy.Physiotherapy with good analgesic will give relief .It should be taken for long time.

i have studied your case

You need to continue with your physiotherapy protocol.

If not getting relief you need to do MRI AGAIN


take rest , , hot or cold fomentation
avoid lifting weights

continue exersizes
physiotherapy - SWD ,IFT WILL HELP
