Hi I have been to the doctors twice this week... on Monday i woke up and couldn't move my neck was on so Mich pain... so i went to the doctors and the doctor said I had a wry neck and gave me some diazepam and told my to take painkillers paracetamol and ibuprofen. She said it would be gone by the next day and I.wouldn't have to take the tablets again by Tuesday meaning diazepam.. so I went on the Wednesday and they said I need to go.back to.the doctor because it's say on my notes I shouldn't be on them by now... so I went back to.the doctor and she took paracetamol and gave cocodamol but I still have pain in my neck I.can move it.but I have like aching pain still

Thanks for writing to us.
The sudden pain in the neck could be due to neck muscle spasm or cervical spondylosis. Avoid using a pillow and start with isometric neck exercises after consulting an orthopedician. Take mild pain killers till then.
