Severe Lower Back Pain, Moving Into Hip, Upper Thigh, Strained Hip Flexor Or Disc. Treatment?

im having severe lower back pain that wraps around into the hip and upper thigh...sometimes i have shooting pain down my front leg that causes numbness and tingling ..pain is the worst at night...have had this for a month..went to physical therapy he said it may be a disc or a strained hip flexor..help i need my mobility back asap..i have 5 kids still at home!

I think your doctor is right , just take few muscle relaxant , physiotherapy and bed rest fo for 2-3 days.
If then pain also remains then you have to do MRI. Shooting pain is mostly do due nerve compressio, which may be due many cause, so MRI will be necessary.
