Since you are complaining of generalized itching all over your body, it can be an allergic reaction to any medicine that you have taken within a week, it can also be due to some kind of food that you have ingested. Anti-allergy medicines can be of help. Yeast infection is the commonest cause of vaginal or genital itching. It can also be due to use of strong chemicals in the soaps, lotions or douches you might have used recently. Stop using any chemical products. Wash genital area with warm water and mild medicated soap, try to keep it dry, moisture will increase itching. Do not scratch. Take care of your hygiene, wear cotton panty and loose fitting clothes. Avoid sex till you are not fit. See a gynae, get clinically examined. Get all investigations done, vaginal swab test, blood ( R/E, VDRL, ELISA,etc ) to rule out STD. Your treatment will depend upon the diagnosis made, don t worry, you will get fine soon. Take care.
