Severe Headache With Fever Post Lipo And Tummy Tuck, Discharge From Lower Incision, No Odor. Worrisome?

I m havin three days severe headaches with fever since after my llipo and tummy tuck two weeks ago but my doctor says to take pain relief which hasn t helped I m also leakin coloured stuff from my lower incision but no smell she just padded it up and says better the stuff come out than stay inside I don know if all this is connected at all thank you I m 49 yrs old first surgery except for CS to deliver last child 9yrs ago

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms and they are not suggestive of any serious issue.

The discharge from the incision looks normal and is not suggestive of infection.

Headache can occur after surgeries, especially if done under spinal anaesthesia. It would subside in a few days. As of now, you can take ibuprofen or diclofenac tablets for relief from headache.
