Hi sindhubhairav ! Thyroid can't cause cough. If you have dry cough give hot compress to your chest, inhale vicks or capsule available by pouring in hot water. And last take expectorant tab which expell mucus out and paracetamol for fever, stop taking normal cough syrup. Recover soon. Bye.
