My little sister is nearly 3 years of age and has suffered from constipation for a while now and it s got to the point where she s screaming for help in complete agony. I ve never seen her in so much pain. We have tried laxatives but nothing seems to be working. I read up online about stool compaction and I was wondering whether or not she has it. Unfortunately the out of hours doctor has only sent out a prescription for my mum to pick up from the pharmacy now. He said that this wouldn t help her pass the stools tonight. I m really worried on my sisters behalf. She hardly eats enough fibre but we have tried everything to get her to eat but she won t. I think that she worries about the food she eats because of her constipation. It s so severe I m worried there is an underlined problem. Please help me. Thanks.
