Severe Chest Pain, Faster Heart Beat. Diagnosed As Pneumonia, Taken Medication, No Results. Suggestions?

Hi..my chest has been hurting really bad. A couple nights ago I stopped breathing twice. And last night it hurt so bad that it put me in tears.. my heart was faster than usual and last time I went to the er they found a spot in my left lung.. they said it was pnemonia but the meds didnt help and ive had it before and it wasnt the same.what could this be?

Hello,

Pneumonia is infection of the lung tissue.

It may be due to bacterial infection.

So it needed a course of antibiotics.

Do a Sputum culture and sensitivity and based on the report choose the suitable antibiotic for complete cure.

follow it with a repeat X ray after the course of antibiotic to see the improvement.
