hi im unmarried with age 21..i had severe backpain during periods,i consulted my doctor.she told t take ultrasound scan... i had an ultrasound scan and diagonised with uterus showing normal homogeneous echotexture, endometrium appear thickened hypoechoiec endometrium 10mm and large thick walled cyst in left vary with size 4.5*3.7cm..can it be cured by medication or symptoms of any cancer

Painful periods in this age group is very common.It indicates that you are ovulating every menstrual cycle. 3 months of oral contraceptive pills is the best for you.your periods will be less painful,bleeding will be moderate.If you repeat the ultrasound after 3 months,the ovarian cyst would have disappeared.Tab Femilon 0-0-1 from day 5 of the menstrual cycle for 21 days for 3 months
