Severe Back Pain, Numbness From Lower Legs To Feet, No Relief With Therapy And Medicines. Suggestions?
I had an epidural when I had my youngest daughter on September 2005, and I have been having severe back pain in the areas of L-3L-4 L-5 and S1. I have gone through Physical Therapy and now I take medicines for back everyday. Both of my feet stay numb from my lower legs as well. Nothing is working. Suggestion PLEASE.

I really appreciate your concern, what the history given here is suggestive of sciatic neuropathy, if this is not responding to medical treatment then surgical intervention is requires and that is decompression of sciatic nerve, hope this information helps you have nice day.
