hi Dr. may i able to make baby? my semen analysis report as follow Color.....................................Whitish Volume................................. 1.5ml odour.................................... normal Liquification............................ 30 Minutes Reaction...................................Alkaline Total Count.....................................40 Million / CC Active Motile......................................30% Slugglish Motile..................................10% Non Motile...........................................60% Pus Cells.............................................1-2/HPF RBC .......................................................Nil Epithelial Cells.......................................Occasional is this normal? kindly reply me
The volume of the sperm is normal if greater than 2 mls so 1.5 is slightly less but may not have a significant effect.
The sperm count is normal, it should be at least 20 million, so 40 million is good.
At least 50% of the sperm should be motile, so at 40% motility this is a little low.
There is a small amount of pus cells and this minimal amount is good.
It is important to remember that semen analysis only gives a general idea of fertility.
There are men with normal results who may have difficulty with fertility and men with abnormal results who have no problems.
