The volume of the sperm is normal if greater than 2 mls so 1.5 is slightly less but may not have a significant effect.
The sperm count
is normal, it should be at least 20 million, so 40 million is good.
At least 50% of the sperm should be motile, so at 40% motility this is a little low.
There is a small amount of pus cells and this minimal amount is good.
It is important to remember that semen analysis
only gives a general idea of fertility
There are men with normal results who may have difficulty with fertility and men with abnormal results who have no problems.
