Hi Doctor I need your help to know Exactly what the meaning of my below semen analysis s result specially the Viscosity which is Abnormal.(What is the medicine). Time of Collection: 11:10 am Time Receiving : 11:15 am Time of Exam : 11:40 am Color : Gray White Volume : 2.0 ml PH : Alkaline Liquification : 40 Minute Viscosity : Abnormal Sperm Count : 130 Milion/ml N.R. 60-160 Milion/ml Motility After Emission Active: 90% Sluggish: 05% Dead: 05% Motility After 1 Hour Active: 90% Sluggish: 05% Dead: 05% Motility After 2 Hour Active: 80% Sluggish: 10% Dead: 10% Motility After 2 Hour Active: 70% Sluggish: 15% Dead: 15% Pus Cell: Many/HPF Spermatogene : 2-4 /PHF

This report is not normal as the viscosity & motility is abnormal but the good thing is the sperm count which is normal so as far as motility is concerned it can be treated with medicines.Please repeat this test after keeping abstinence (no sex) for 7 days .If the second report is also same then you need treatment for increasing motility so consult a Urologist/Andrologist.
