Semen Analysis Done. What Does The Report Indicate?

hi im shoaib and 31 years old my semen examination is as below volume 2ml - 7.2 motility 50%(rapid and sluggish) count 20 * 10 ^6/ml liquefaction in 1 hour small round cells 5*10^6/ml liquifaction complete in 1 hour fluid sample volume 4.1 ml semen ph 7.9 total sperm count 10* 10 ^6/ml r rapid motility 20% r sluggish motility 5% r non- progressive motility 25% r immotile motility 50% this is my examinatios report of one years ago could u tell me that is there any problem ?

Hi, Welcome to HCM, I am Dr. Das.
I think your report starts from the third line.
From the report, it is clear that you have low sperm count ( normal- 40 million as per WHO 1999) and normal pH and liquefaction time. But the motile sperm count is low ( rapid and sluggish total should be >50%).
So, your report definitely indicates that there is some serious problem. You must follow up to your treating doctor. Because this could cause infertility.
