Scar On Nose From Dog Bite A Year Ago Started Bleeding. No Abrasion, Swelling, Pain. Cause And Cure?

I just got off the phone with a friend who has a small scar on her nose from a dog bite from over a year ago. She said out of nowhere it started bleeding out of a small area in the middle of the scar. No abrasion , no swelling , no pain or source of injury. Just a pin prick size hole. Fresh blood not dark or abnormally colored or clear... just red blood. - thoughts?

Hi welcome to Health care magic forum. From the description you are giving if the scar is on the ala of the nose we can consider it could be epistxis means nasal bleeding to the out side of the nose. if the scar is some where else it difficult to say the cause.
any how it is always necessory to consult a doctor regarding such doutful issues.
Epistaxis is the bleeding into the nose from inside of the ala of nose. as the scar is nearer to the blood vessel and the scar is vulnerable it would have come out of it.
