My 11 year old is having pain when she touches the right side of her scalp . She as complained of headaches , but they aren t all of the time (like the pain from touching the scalp). She does also complain of her neck hurting. It hurt if you touch her hair?? What could this possibly be? We re very concerned. This has been going on for about 2 weeks now, but has gotten progressively worse.

hello im dr satya
welcome to health care magic
Sensitive scalp and neck may be a part of allodyna, The reasons for it are not clear but there are many solutions. excess of chocolates may trigger a few nerveendings resulting in allodyna.
capsacin topical preparations have shown a few positive results. your daughter at 11 may be in for menarche which again may trigger a few nerve endings.
thank you
dr satya
