SGPT high, don't drink or smoke, on healthy food. How to reduce this ?

Hello, I'm 31 years old, i did 3 times SGPT test, the first time it was 88 , second 99 and 3rd time 126.
In my test only the SGPT is high and all the other result are very gd, i drink slchool once or twice per month, but always before 15 days i dont drink alchool, i drink a lot of water, but i was so stresses at work for a while. I dont take any type of medicines, i dont smoke . most of my food are healthy, Can u plz advise what to do to reduce the SGPT level to the normal? And what i need to eat, what type of vegetables is advisable to eat and now im doing sports exercises each day, i have hg 1.71 mtr , wt 77, thank you

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
SGPT or alanine aminotranferase ( A L T ) is primarily found in liver .
The normal value of A L T is 5-50 I U . In your case as this level is progressively increasing.
Your food is healthy and you are doing regular exercise that's a good thing.
In my opinion get in ultrasound of liver with M R I so that exact reason of elevation of A L T ( SGPT ) can be find out . Consult a gastroenterologist and get his opinion as diet alone will not be albe to cure this level.

I am of 36, was hospitalized for having jaundice 5 months ago, where my SGPT was around 1100 and Belurubin to 19.5. hi dr I am 28,I have checked my sgpt sgot level,which is pretty high like 172 and 73 respectively...For the last one year I have been consuming alchohol thrice in a week or so,but before I drink only once in a month and i used to smoke weed(drugs) as well.Now I have a pain on my upper thighs and lower abdomen and I too have a quite unusual type of a pot belly my stomach is very hard though...Please advice me for a better life I have stopped everything from now..

Dear Sir, I m 40 years male found HBsAg + in 2006 HBeAg negative but SGPT was 79, a bit fatty liver , HBV DNA + 1.0 x 10 (4) then I go under medication (Lamivir 100mg) after 3 years in August 2009 HBV DNA found negative but continue medication. Further test in May 2010 HBV DNA found negative then I leave medication, meanwhile SGPT always fluctuating in between 50-90. after leaving medication SGPT fluctuated same as earlier. Recently SGPT increased to 120 in last August 2 days back SGPT found 124. May I know what is my current condition and what should I do?

Last month i tested sgot sgpt the value are 86 and 140, i stopped alchole and again LFT tested after 35 days but values are same sgot 98 and sgpt 128 but lft test shows other values are under normal except sgot and sgpt. should i take medicine, kindly advise

Private had two miscarriages back to back had blood samples taken My results - i have SLE - their conclusion about SLE was when they are testing the rheumatology profile for what are called antinuclear antibodies (ANA). These are so-called biomarkers of a disease....things that can be measured that are high in people with the disease. The value that caused their major conclusion for SLE is the one for Ro antibody level ...measured was 8.0 units ....but should be less than 0.9 units. Surprisingly, my level of another ANA is normal (La antibody value....measured was less than 0.2 units ...acceptable less than 0.9 units I m 25 want to be a mummy is this possible will I need help.? Thankyou
