Rotator Cuff Surgery, Prednisone Pack Because Of Inflammation, Tingling Back Near Scapula Area. Reason?
I am 7 weeks out of rotator cuff surgery and have been going to therapy 3 times a week, with just this week only going 2 times a week. My Dr. said that my recovery is right on schedule but put me on prednisone pack because of the severe inflammation at my appointment last Thursday. During the last few days since, I have been having intermittient tingling back near the scapula area. Should I be concerned?
** 1. because you had shoulder injury, might be referred sensation [and not pain], tingling sometimes occur together due to an underlying condition, such as arthritis in the spine and shoulder. If you don't have any other health problems, and you otherwise feel well, it is reasonable to watch and wait. 2. As presently, symptoms are without any significance i.e. absence of pain, weakness or any other abnormalities thus may not be indicative of any serious illness. 3. Check with your physician for proper history and physical examination to determine the proper diagnosis and treatment if necessary.
