Road Rash After Falling Off Bicycle, Bruised Knee, Ankle And Shin. Broken Fibula?

I was riding a bicycle Monday night and the pedal broke and when I fell off the bike I got severe road rash . It is now 2 days later and my leg has a burning sensation and really sharp pains. The knee and ankle have small bruises and the shin is really bruised. Could I have broken my fibula or tibia? I am still able to walk on my right leg but it hurts quite a bit.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
If you are able to bear weight on the injured leg without any sharp pain and the swelling in the area is only mild then a bone injury is not likely. However an X-ray is needed to confirm this.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
