Hello and welcome,
I understand the problem very well.
Ovarian cysts are not uncommon in your age. Most of them are follicular cysts and resolve by themselves or after minor treatment.
Do not be scared. The treatment depends upon the type of cyst, size and other features like papillary excresences, presence of complexities. So it will help if you provide a detailed report.
Walking help to correct
hormonal imbalances. Low fat and low sugar diet which is rich in fruits and vegetables is also useful. Also discuss with your doctor about
progesterone therapy and also
oral contraceptive pills. They are used in simple cysts and are effective. Do not worry as this is a common issue and many girls have it.
Just get a repeat
ultrasound after 3-4 months of therapy to see if it is there or has resolved.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Thanks for using HCM.
Feel free to ask any more questions that you may have.
