Removal If Uterus And Cervix. Spotting And Cramps During Menstrual Cycle.

I had hysterectomy removal of uterus and cervix in September 2012. Twice in the last month, I have found blood on my tissue when I wiped. The first time was a small amount. The second time was heavier. Both instances occurred in the morning when I first wake up, with the first urine of the day. I also have cramping along with this as if I am having a menstrual cycle. The cramps last for the whole day the bleeding occurs. This morning is the second time and I am cramping more severely than last time

Hello ma'am and welcome.

There can be many reasons for the presentation you are experiencing, but a hormonal imbalance would be the most likely cause due to the procedure that you underwent. So please visit your doctor and get elaborately evaluated.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
