Remedy To Lower The Levels Of Lipase And Amylase

hello doc, im christine... a coworker of mine had this sudden abdominal pain, and found out in his lab results he has high lipase and amylase.he was given medicine but still until now he has high results...what he should do?and how to treat and lower these results?

Hi and welcome to HCM.
In most cases this is indicating pancreas issues. if there is no pain,vomiting then this is obviously not some acute inflammation of pancreas but it can be chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cyst or some less common pancreatic disease. to verify this you need to do more detailed work up including ct scan.
