Remedy For Post Nasal Drip Drainage In Back Of Throat?

My postnasal drip drainage in the back of my throat is causing me to feel claustrophobic. The drainage is very thick and makes it very difficult for me to swallow and or clear my throat. What can I do? I have been through a course of
Augmentin, but have had little or no relief.

Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding post nasal drip which is still persisting even after taking antibiotic augmentin.

Your history of illness clearly reflect to think about sinusitis. You should dothese investigations-

1- C.T.Scan of paranasal sinuses.

2- Culture and sensitivity of throat swab.

3- X-Ray chest.

The inferences of above investigations are to be co-related with clinical findings of examination to finalise the diagnosis that may be accordingly manage.

Regards.
