Hello and thanks for posting your query on HCM
Duphaston is a synthetic progesterone.
Estrogen and progestreone are two hormones produced by ovaries. These two hormones maintain the normal uterine cycle. Estrogens cause proliferation of the lining of the uterus (endometrium) during first part of the menstrual cycle and progestrerone causes secretory changes in the proliferated endometrium during the second half. Both hormones are required in appropriate amounts for implantation of the fertilized ovum.
In case there is deficiency of progesterone, pregnancy will not occur.
Failure to conceive may be due to deficiency of progesterone, co Duphaston is prescribed.
Hoevr, if you are not able to conceive after a long time of taking medication then consult your doctor to find out other causes of infetility.

Thanks and take care

Hello halimajunaid,

Welcome to the forum, you did not mention since how many years you have been married. When a couple is unable to conceive after 3 years of staying together ( having sexual intercourse ) after marriage, they are started on infertility treatment. Before this period, there is no need for treatment. Couples should try to stay together and wait for a natural pregnancy to occur.

If time has passed and they are still unable to conceive they should consult a gynecologist, take help to localize the ovulation period to aid pregnancy. In the mean time all investigations for the two should be done. Semen analysis, blood tests, ultrasonography, clinical evaluation of the female partner, etc. The reports of these examinations help to diagnose and manage the case further.

If you want to conceive give more time to each other, take healthy nutritious food rich in proteins, vitamins and antitoxins. Keep yourself well hydrated with soups, fresh fruits, juice, etc. Avoid any kind of addiction. Tale dairy products, beans and cereals. Have a good day, take care.
