Regular Periods. Not Getting Pregnant. Taking Ovral-L And Meprate. Will This Tablet Help?
hi i have my periods in every month. But sometime it is very heavy even lasted within 10 days. And i am worried about why i do not get pregnant(i have one and half year marriage life)..Doctor suggested me the following tablets.. what is the need of taking OVRAL*L 21 day tablet along with 9 MEPRATE tablet during a month..and doctor suggest to continue that for 3 months .Is it possible to get pregnant through these tablets?

The doctor must have prescribed the tablets to regularise your body hormone levels which seem to be out of tune. It is not possible to get pregnant through these tablets as Ovral-L is a contraceptive,i.e., it inhibits ovulation. Taking this course should make your cycles moderate with normal flow. Then you can get investigated and go for the treatment of infertility as per your doctor's advice. Good luck.

ovral L 21 tablets are combined oral contraceptive pills, your doctor might have prescribed those to control your heavy flow during periods,
meprate tablets contain medroxyprogesterone, if your bleeding is getting controlled with ovral l then usually no need to use these, if you are only using them in second half of the cycle without ovral then they will help in implantation,
as I told ovral l are contraceptive pills you can not get pregnant by being on them, so you better consult your doctor and tell that you want to conceive, and with her advice better to stop ovral la and continue only progesterone which will increase the chances of pregnancy.
