Regular Headache, Cold, Fever, Cough, Sinus Infection, Amoxicillin Taken
My 12 year old has had come and go symptoms of headache , chills, and fever ( right now he has a temp of 102) for the most part he has had a cough that is more consistant than the other symptoms. The doctor diagnosed him with a sinus infection two days ago and prescribed amoxycillian. How long until he should show improvement and why do the symptons come and go?

It seems from the history that your son is having cold fever headache... and he is diagnosed with sinusitis.
He is on treatment with amoxycillin and the infection should decrease by 5-7 days. If the infection persists then antibiotic needs to be changed according to sensitivity.
Hence I advice you to wait till 7 days before you ask for change of antibiotic.
